OPKO’s ModeX Therapeutics has a partnership with BARDA to advance its MSTAR multispecific antibody platform for the prevention and treatment of viral threats, including programs focused on COVID‑19 and influenza. BARDA funding supports the development of these next-generation antibody candidates, which assists in accelerating these programs that are aligned with U.S. pandemic preparedness and public health priorities.
OPKO is collaborating with Entera Bio to combine OPKO’s peptide and protein engineering with Entera’s N-Tab® oral peptide platform to develop first-in-class tablet therapies, including programs in long-acting PTH for hypoparathyroidism and dual GLP-1/glucagon for obesity and metabolic disorders. This partnership is designed to turn injectable peptide medicines into convenient once-daily oral treatments, and has the potential to expand patient access and potentially improve long-term disease management.
We actively seek to collaborate with organizations that share our commitment to delivering next-generation therapies to patients worldwide.
